Zsolt Mentes

IMELCO Chairman

Zsolt Mentes was born in in Székesfehérvár (near Budapest), Hungary, in 1978. Zsolt had a very happy childhood, aleady playing with switches from a young age. Graduating from a college of economics, he obtained further qualifications necessary for a family business and completed various internships abroad. Zsolt has been working full-time at Mentavill since 2002. Mentavill is a family business, a wholesaler of electrical products and a network of electrical stores, which was founded by Zsolt’s parents 31 years ago. Mentavill currently employs nearly 450 people.

Mentavill joined the IMELCO team 16 years ago, during which time a lot was learned from the manufacturers and other members. In business, Zsolt considers it important to be fair, to respect employees, and not to be separated from one’s roots and everyday customers. He has a lot of faith in this approach and is positive that his sons will one day lead this family business on the basis of such values.

Zsolt became IMELCO Chair in 2022, having previously been a Supervisory Board Member, respresenting Mentavill. He is married, with two sons. They play an important role in his life, and he chooses to spend all his free time with them.

Co Braber

IMELCO President

Co Braber is the President of IMELCO, having joined the Group in 2017 to take on this role. As such, he is responsible IMELCO’s supplier relationships, the smooth operation of the IMELCO team, and coordination of activities with members.

Having studied marketing, Co built his career within the lighting company, Sylvania, where he worked for 27 years. After holding various positions within Sylvania in the Netherlands, Co was given responsibility for the Dutch market and, later, the German speaking markets and Scandinavia. Co brings this supplier perspective into his role with IMELCO, enabling him to lead the IMELCO team in implementing activities that align with supplier needs and those of IMELCO’s members, bringing real business outcomes to all.

He enjoys the familiar and friendly approach to business within the IMELCO group, which combines successfully with a shared professional entrepreneurial spirit.
